Incentives

Renewable regime (Legislative Decree 1002) with priority dispatch and long-term auctions for biomass, plus new time-block contracts under Law 32249 (2025). The National Registry of Mitigation Measures under Law 30754 allows emission reductions to be registered. Specific tax benefits for environmental equipment and free zones: not verified.

Which technology fits Peru

Priority feedstock: End-of-life tires, with non-recyclable mixed plastics as complementary feedstock.
Why: With around 100,000 t/year of tires and an EPR regime in force since 2021 that requires valorisation, pyrolysis lets management systems comply while selling oil, recovered carbon black and steel.
